Did you know that the frozen margarita machine was invented in Dallas, Texas? In addition to The Big Social, Dallas is home to 18 Fortune 500 companies, five professional sports teams and the largest urban arts district in the United States. There's so much to see and do. To help, here are some travel tips for your journey to social customer experience.

Hotels

The Big Social room block at the W Dallas hotel is now sold out. You may still be able to reserve a room at the W Dallas, but at the hotel's prevailing rates and subject to availability.

The Big Social attendees that have not yet booked accommodations can now book at The Aloft Dallas Downtown Hotel (subject to availability). Rates at The Aloft range from $159/night to $179/night. Shuttle service between The Aloft and The W, conference venue for The Big Social, will run on a schedule to drop off attendees in the mornings and pick them up in the evenings.

Flights

Book your ticket into either Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field (DAL). DFW is located about 17 miles from the conference venue, and DAL 7 miles.

Transportation

Rental Cars

DFW Airport has a Rental Car Center located at 2424 E. 38th St, DFW Airport, TX, near the south entrance of the Airport and is served by 10 companies. After collecting your baggage, follow the Rental Car signs to the designated pick-up area on the lower level of the terminal. From there, board the Rental Car shuttle bus. Buses run 24 hours a day, depart every five minutes and reach the Rental Car Center in approximately 10 minutes.

Taxi Service

Taxis are easily accessible curbside just outside of the baggage claims at both DFW Airport and DAL Love Field. Approximate cost from DFW Airport: $50 USD each way. Approximate cost from DAL Love Field: $25 USD each way.

DART Rail Station

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) gets you around Dallas and 12 surrounding cities. Accessible from DFW Airport Terminal A, DFW Airport passengers exit to Ground Transportation on the Bag Claim Level and board the DART bus at the designated bus stop near Gate A10. Passengers then ride the bus to Belt Line Station for the DART Rail. DART Rail Orange Line provides service to Victory Station. The W Dallas Victory Hotel is a short walk from Victory Station.
