At this year’s in.Telligent social computing conference, I gave a keynote around our product roadmap.
To take advantage of the large number of customers in one room, I decided to gather some feedback in real time. I distributed a list of features broken out by theme and told everyone they had $100 (virtual cash, of course) to distribute between the features. NOTE: I excluded most of what we have planned for our Community Server 2009 release.
The poll verified a lot of things we assumed. When taking a closer look at the breakout, it was clear that the top 2 concerns are:
- Mobile: everyone wants visitors to take their communities with them on the go, and
- Calendars: these are viewed as critical tools that enable people to link virtual interactions to the real world.
