System message to all users?

I know there is a way to do a mass external email to all users, but is there a way to send a single message to all users inbox in Telligent? I am interested in sending a message to all users asking them to update their profile with a link to the edit profile section but would prefer to keep it in there Telligent inbox.

    There is a mass email tool in the control panel(Site Admin->Tools->Send Mass Email).  You can send an email to all members of a role.. in your case selecting Registered Users should hit everyone on your site if they can receive email.

    To clarify if you mean conversation message, there is no OOTB way to do it, you would have to write custom code against the APIS and I would not recommend it since you could end up with your whole community responding to the whole user base
