Telligent Event Calendar widgets allow one or more calendars to be defined for a single group. Is there a way where in we can associate calendars directly to roles rather than groups?

    No calendars are only related to groups and will filter calendar events based on the groups security settings and membership

    Please do take a look at Chronos www.4-roads.com/.../default.aspx or calendar has a richer feature set that allows you to have multiple calendars in groups and user calendars and much more.
