Customise Wiki - Table of Contents widget

Customise Wiki - Table of Contents widget

This question is not answered

Hi,

I am looking for some direction/code that I should include when trying to modify the Wiki - Table of Contents widget. We have a large number of articles in our wikis and the table of contents therefore streams down the page.

The widget Group - List has numbers at the bottom so the widget only displays a set number of pages, e.g 12 and then you select a second, third etc page to see more page links.

I would like to do something like this for the Wiki - Table of Contents widget - ideally so we would show 25, 30 articles and then a second, third etc page number would be at the bottom of the widget for users to click through the articles.

Thanks,

Jon

  • The Wiki - Table of Contents widget is designed to show a hierarchy of pages.  If you're finding you've got too many pages at one level, then I'd recommend you look at grouping some related pages under a single parent page.

(See our product documentation telligent.com/.../community7 for an example of how the widget shows a hierarchy)

  • Thanks for getting back to me, Alex.

Does this mean it is not possible to customise the widget to have a page function?

The issue we have is the articles are already on our Community so it would be a massive manual process to group the articles into a hierachy.
