Partially, I'm curious since there's no documentation on this little database field but I also have some odd behavior I'm trying to solve. What does it mean when the value is -1? What happens if the value is NULL?
We have about 145 pages on our site that are displaying the tabs from an unrelated group I created a few months back. I had no reason to save my page layout as the default so I can't explain why the tabs are now appearing on some, but not all, of our other groups. If I edit the page layout for one of these affected groups and replace the Group - Application Navigation widget with a new one, I still see the unwanted tabs, and in some tests, the unwanted tabs still appeared even if they were removed from the widget.
Thoughts? We're running 220.127.116.1180. Sadly, I can't take the system down to upgrade it to 7.6 for at least a couple of months.
SourceConfiguredContentFragmentId is used to identify pre-matched widgets when processing locked widgets on contextual pages' relationships to default pages. This is likely not causing the issue.
Is it possible that someone saved a group page as a default? That would cause the application navigation to be applied to all groups that had not saved their own configuration.
We only have a small handful of people with administrative rights including myself. It seems unlikely any of us would go out of our way to save the configuration as the new default; still that doesn't mean it didn't happen, and in the interim, people must have edited their sites and captured the unwanted tab in their configurations.
