Job Scheduler - packages.config

This question is answered

I'm looking for an example of the packages.config file - I'm interested in being able to reference a service reference folder using SOAP calls within an IJob I've created - job works fine but it's the tie to the SOAP reference that falls down as I suspect I need some indicator within some config file inside the Job Scheduler folder.

Can anyone advise? Is the pakcages.config where I need o make reference to my SOAP api?

  • The packages.config file is an internal file which is due for removal in a future version as it conflicts with NuGet's packages.config file. You should not be storing your own data in this file.

If the job is failing in the job scheduler, my suspicion would be that you need to set up a proxy server in the Telligent.JobScheduler.Service.exe.config file - msdn.microsoft.com/.../kd3cf2ex(v=vs.110).aspx . Check the exception logs for errors of type "Background Job" to troubleshoot further.
