A theme is the definition of the visual representation of a site and consist of a set of configuration data, a header, a footer, and a set of pages. The header, footer and pages each define a single layout containing regions containing references to one or more configured widgets.
Themes make use of layouts of widgets to expose Evolution functionality to users. Themes are edited through the Control Panel (to set configuration options) and via page editing through the front UI by clicking the "Edit Page" button in the administrative toolbar.
The core of Telligent Evolution supports four theme types:
- Site themes
- User themes
- Group themes
- Blog themes
