Widgets represent self-contained functionality and content, fragments of a complete, renderable page. They are the way to deliver functionality required on a page. Widgets can be created, edited and deleted by going to Control Panel > Administration > Site Administration > Widget Studio > Manage Widgets.
Widgets are included in Theme headers, footers, and pages to create complete renderable pages.
