Configuration & Tasks

This section contains documentation on the configuration files used by the Telligent Evolution Platform

• communityserver.config / core attributes|CommunityServer.config - Configuration file containing configuration options used throughout the Telligent Evolution platform.
• Configuring Telligent Evolution to use a proxy server - Configuring CommunityServer.config and Web.config to tell Telligent Evolution about your proxy server.
• Custom tasks to be used with release 5.6 and beyond. Note: While the Telligent.Tasks service tasks can be used in 5.6, any future development should be executed using the Telligent Job Scheduler.
• How to require www in URLs - If your Web site does not respond to the version of your domain with the www prefix (or if you want Telligent Evolution to use only the www version), you can it to require the www prefix.
• Override files - Allow you to make changes to the communityserver.config and siteurls.config files without physically editing said files, making upgrades easier to perform
• Telligent.Tasks|Tasks.config - Used by the Tasks service up to release 5.6.

Some configuration file values may be overridden by values configured through the Control Panel.
