We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our Sales team as Inside Sales Representative. This person is responsible for:

  • Prospect, develop and close business to achieve Sales Targets for the Telligent products within specific time frames for both current and new strategic customer opportunities
  • Conduct product demonstrations via the internet to potential customer’s audiences that are both technical and non-technical
  • Follow up on inquiries/leads generated by Marketing
  • Saleforce.com as a productivity tool championing its use within the Sales Organization
  • Keep Telligent Management informed by maintaining accurate customer and pipeline records within SalesForce.com
  • Provide timely and accurate business forecasts to sales and executive management.
  • Submit timely and accurate activity reports as required.
  • Provide Telligent Management with information about the current market opportunities and identify new business opportunities and partners.
  • Work closely with other cross-functional management teams in the Marketing and Product groups to drive awareness for the Telligent product suite.

  • Must be incredibly self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrable record of sales success against quota
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate business concepts
  • Ability to think strategically while delivering tactical results
  • Ability to adapt to changing business issues and requirements and be creative in suggesting new approaches.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office/Exchange and Salesforce.com
  • Knowledge of Social Business Web 2.0 preferred
