During Telligent's annual user conference this year, The Big Social 2012, numerous customers spoke on their experience with community both internally and externally. Intel was one of the customers at The Big Social that focused on its internal use of community – Kip Silverman from Intel presented during the "Many Tools, One Experience - Reimagining Employee Collaboration at Intel" session that provided insightful information about adopting social tools to improve internal collaboration.
Silverman began the presentation by discussing the evolution of social computing at Intel and touched on the challenges that the organization faced as their sophistication progressed. According to Silverman, Intel conducted surveys to find out what was most important to users.
