Announced today, Telligent has been honored with an award in the December 2008 issue of EContent Magazine! EContent is the most respected source for information about the digital content industry, delivering essential research, reporting, news, and anayslis of content-related issues.

Every year, EContent distributes the EContent 100 List, a list of 100 companies that matter most in the digital content industry. These companies exemplify innovation and evolution of digital content and offer exciting insight into what can happen when digital content is pushed forward.

Telligent named one of the top 100 fastest-growing, privately-held companies in the Dallas area

The SMU Cox Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship, recognized the top 100 fastest-growing, privately-held companies in the Dallas area last week.

Combined, these 100 companies generated sales of $9.9 billion in the past three years, grew average sales 171 percent from 2005 to 2007, and grew the number of employees from 11,391 in 2005 to 22,677 in 2007.

In its 18th year, the Dallas 100™ Awards, presented by the SMU Cox Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship, recognized the top 100 fastest-growing, privately held companies in the North Texas area.

And Telligent made the list!

In order to qualify for the Dallas 100™, a company must be an independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship or partnership (not a subsidiary of a parent company) as of May 1, 2008; be headquartered in the Dallas area; have had sales of more than $500,000 in fiscal 2005; have had sales of not more than $75,000,000 in 2005; have a three-year sales history reflecting growth; and, have a credit report and character satisfactory to the Dallas 100™, determined at the sole discretion of the Dallas 100™.

Telligent Ranked One of the 50 Fastest Growing Technology Companies

The Tech Titan Fast 50 recognizes the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the DFW Metroplex annually, based on percentage of revenue growth over five years and one year.

Participants can be public or private and encompass all technology industry segments. To qualify for the ranking, companies must own proprietary technology.

The official ranking of those companies making the 2008 five-year and one-year list will be announced at the annual Tech Titan/Fast 50 Awards Gala at the Mariott Hotel at Legacy Town Center, Plano, Texas, on September 26th and in the Dallas Business Journal, October 10th edition.

Telligent Named “Best Place To Work In DFW"

The Dallas Business Journal revealed today the rankings for its annual "Best Places to Work in Dallas-Fort Worth" award, and Telligent placed in the top 18%! Out of a record number 270 companies that qualified for the award this year, only 60 earned the distinction.

Telligent ranked #10 in the small business category and made its first appearance on the Journal's "Best of the Best" list, coming in at #11 overall among all small, mid-sized, and large companies. Telligent was also one of twelve companies featured in the Journal's "Best Places to Work" supplement.

An independent research firm (along with the Dallas Business Journal) administered the employee survey. Here are a couple of quotes taken from that survey:

"It took me a long time to find a company like Telligent. It is very 1999 in attitude and perks, but very now in terms of product maturity and profit. I freaking love this place and feel like I've found a home."

"The leadership invests heavily in our culture, and everyone in the organization feels that they have some role to continue to make this company great."

Telligent was founded in 2004 with only 2 employees. Today the company boasts a staff of 90 and hopes to add 30 additional team members within the next twelve months.
