DALLAS, Texas, October 9, 2008 – Despite the turmoil surrounding the nation’s economy, Telligent today announced the opening of a new office in London, England. Along with the new international headquarters comes the announcement of domestic expansion.

Telligent, an innovative social software and solutions company headquartered in Dallas, recently received $20 million in funding from Intel Capital and has started growing its sales team and global reach.

  • Steve Poncini, an enterprise software veteran (Oracle, BEA and Plumtree), was hired to manage the London office, which is located at 271 Regent Street
  • The new office in London supports the company’s strategic aim of growing business in the region and positioning itself—both domestically and abroad—as the leading provider of enterprise social software
  • Telligent has also expanded its domestic presence in major metropolitan areas and now has account managers on the ground in Chicago, New York City, Seattle, Detroit, and San Francisco
  • Telligent is based in Dallas, Texas, and employs over 140 people
  • Telligent was founded in 2004 by Rob Howard
