DALLAS, Texas, October 9, 2008 – Despite the turmoil surrounding the nation’s economy, Telligent today announced the opening of a new office in London, England. Along with the new international headquarters comes the announcement of domestic expansion.
Telligent, an innovative social software and solutions company headquartered in Dallas, recently received $20 million in funding from Intel Capital and has started growing its sales team and global reach.
“The London addition adds to our solid growth and expansion efforts, both domestically and abroad. As the business grows, we’ll continue to look for different areas to open new offices.” Rob Howard, CEO, Telligent.
“The opening of our new London office will enable us to develop even more of a presence in EMEA and beyond. A key element of the new office will be immediate support of our customer base overseas.” Tom Edwards, VP of Sales & Marketing, Telligent.
“This exciting endeavor comes as the demand for our wide range of social computing solutions continues to gain momentum outside the United States. In an otherwise challenging business environment, we are discovering that organizations are increasingly turning to Telligent to harness the value of what Web 2.0 can bring to the enterprise.” Steve Poncini, Director of International Sales, Telligent.
