DALLAS - July 26, 2010 - Telligent, a leader in community and collaboration software, announced today the appointment of John Rabara as the vice president of customer care. Rabara will report directly to Telligent CEO Patrick Brandt.
In his new position on the senior management team, Rabara will focus mainly on customer service, customer support, education, and partner support. He will ensure that Telligent is consistently contributing to its more than 3,000 customers, while still remaining committed to its core values.

Rabara served as director of sales consulting at Oracle, where his responsibilities included product support, sales leadership and support, and strategy development. Previously, he was the director of customer solutions at Skywire Software, focusing on development, implementation and support for one of the company's core products. Prior to Skywire Software, Rabara was part of the team that developed the Odyssey product at The Software Group (now Tyler Technologies).
