&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="https://telligent.com/bigsocial/"&gt;The Big Social&lt;/a&gt; &lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;attendees came from as far away as Italy and Australia to hear Howard, considered one of the&lt;/span&gt; &lt;a href="http://harmon.ie/news/top-25-most-influential-sharepoint-thought-leaders-social-business-today"&gt;Top 25 Most Influential SharePoint Thought Leaders in Social Business&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;, present the latest Telligent vision, as well as share best practices that are successfully being used in the enterprise today.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;Howard&amp;rsquo;s points and the general buzz at the conference were echoed by industry analyst Larry Hawes, Principal at Dowbrook Advisory Services. CMSWire journalist, &lt;a href="http://www.cmswire.com/cms/social-business/the-end-of-the-big-social-the-future-of-enterprise-social-thebigsocial-012854.php"&gt;Josette Rigsby interviewed&lt;/a&gt; Hawes during the conference, where he talked about his views on the future of social within the enterprise. &lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;Apptio Director of Online Marketing and Operations Josh Harbert also chimed in on his thoughts about social within the enterprise. &amp;ldquo;This conference offered great insight into the past, present and future of social within the enterprise,&amp;rdquo; Harbert says. &amp;ldquo;The adoption of new social practices at my company and many other companies has been great so far, however in the near future I foresee more companies realizing just how important social is; which I believe will then generate an increased momentum around companies integrating some form of social into their overall business strategy.&amp;rdquo;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;Earlier this year, Telligent announced the launch of its Telligent Enterprise 3.0 and Telligent Community 6.0 suites. &lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;Another industry first announcement was the concept of a pervasive community. It&amp;rsquo;s the ability to embed any widget from Telligent Community into other websites and applications.&amp;nbsp; The concept is to write-once in Telligent widget studio and re-use it anywhere, as many times as you like.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;"&gt;&amp;ldquo;The possibilities of where you can add social engagement are now endless &amp;ndash; no matter where you need to add social engagement, with this feature, you are now simply able to create widgets and drop them into other apps and websites,&amp;rdquo; Howard says.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

In this session he touched on creative uses of communities and how to build a new business by thinking outside the box. &amp;ldquo;For me, there&amp;rsquo;s nothing better than picking up tips from other community managers.
