Patrick Brandt
Chairman and CEO
Patrick Brandt, Chief Executive Officer, drives the corporate strategy and vision for Telligent. A veteran enterprise software entrepreneur and executive, Brandt has a proven track record of leading companies through rapid growth and expansion.
Prior to joining Telligent, Brandt was the founder and CEO of Skywire Software. During his eight-year tenure at Skywire Software, Brandt led the company through organic growth and 11 acquisitions, including the leveraged buyout of Docucorp (NASDAQ: DOCC) in 2007. By 2008, the market-leading vertical software company employed more than 600 people and served more than 2,400 customers in 45 countries. In 2008, Brandt led and negotiated the sale of Skywire Software's enterprise software business by Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL). Brandt remains a member of the board of directors of iWave Software, a spin-off of Skywire Software, and serves on the board of appBackr, the first and only digital wholesale marketplace for the iPhone and iPad application market.
Brandt has also earned several accolades for his business acumen, leadership, and community service, including the Ernst & Young 2008 Southwest Area Entrepreneur of the Year Award®, the 2008 Tech Titans Corporate CEO Award, the 2006 Ellis Award from the Entrepreneur Foundation of North Texas, and the 2004 Tech Titans Emerging CEO Award.
An active community volunteer, Brandt serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations focused on promoting education and entrepreneurship among at-risk youth and encouraging philanthropy to emerging and established companies. Brandt is a founding director of the National Foundation of Teaching Entrepreneurship Greater Dallas Chapter, Chairman of the Board of Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas, is a board member of Education is Freedom and is a Partner of Dallas Social Venture Partners. Brandt earned his bachelor's of science in economics and finance from Southern Methodist University.
Rob Howard
Founder and CTO
Rob Howard is the visionary behind Telligent's product development and innovation and is known throughout the industry as an authority in community and collaboration software. As Telligent's Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Howard oversees product development and the company's technology roadmap. A true pioneer, Howard contributed to the development and adoption of Microsoft's Web platform technologies, where he helped create and grow the innovative ASP.NET community. In 2004, he continued his vision for customer engagement when he founded Telligent, which was first-to-market with integrated online community software. Howard also understood early on the value of community analytics, and Telligent was first-to-market with an application to address this need.
Howard has worked with customers including Dell, MySpace.com and Microsoft, and he is able to help organizations of any size apply the value of collaborative work to their business. An expert at developing enterprise collaboration software, he has authored several books on the topic of software development and speaks at conferences worldwide on the topics of social computing and software development. Howard is a member of the Lonestar chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization, and he earned his bachelor's of business administration from Baylor University.

David Mitchell
Business Leader
David Mitchell is the CEO of Spring Wireless, the global leader in corporate mobile solutions and the fastest growing company in the market with operations in 15 countries. Previously, David served as President and CEO of Dallas-based Global 360, a leading provider of process and document management solutions. David led that company for a little over three years until he negotiated it’s sale to Open Text Corporation in July of 2011. Prior to joining Global 360 in 2008, Mitchell served as President and CEO of webMethods, Inc., the leader in the integration software market. He was a member of the IPO team that took webMethods public in 2000, and in 2007 he helped architect the merger of webMethods with Software AG. Previously, Mitchell was President and CEO of VYCOR Corporation, where he led the company through rapid growth and negotiated its acquisition by McAfee, Inc.
Jeffrey Rich
Managing Partner, PlumTree Partners
Jeff Rich is the managing partner of PlumTree Partners, a Dallas-based private investment firm focusing on growth opportunities and technology enabled business services. Previously serving as CEO of Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., Rich has the accomplishment of growing the company's annual revenue from $300 million to over $5.3 billion. During his time at ACS, he oversaw more than 70 acquisitions and 10 divestitures. Rich also serves on the River Logic, Inc. Board of Directors as well as the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Executive Board. In addition, he is an active member of the World President's Organization and earned his B.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
Rob Clyde
CEO, Adaptive Computing
A recognized industry leader, Rob Clyde is currently CEO of Adaptive Computing, an intelligent automation software provider for cloud, data center, and high-performance computing environments. Rob has over twenty-five years of experience as an enterprise software executive with demonstrated leadership success at startup companies to large companies, including Symantec and Axent Technologies. An internet security pioneer and innovator, he is credited with the creation of the first commercial intrusion detection system and led the business unit that developed and brought to market the first security compliance product. As CTO at Symantec, Rob defined Symantec's technology strategy and was a key part of the management team that drove the company to grow from slightly under $1B in revenue to over $5B in five years. He also serves as a member of the board of directors for Telligent and PasswordBank.
Rob Rueckert
Director, Intel Capital (Board Observer)
Rob Rueckert is a Director at Intel Capital and a Kauffman Fellow. Prior to joining Intel Capital in 2002, Rueckert spent 10 years in the software industry, five years as a senior engineer and CTO with a few startup companies, and an additional five years as a senior software consultant with Arthur Andersen. He invests in enterprise software and internet and has managed numerous IPOs and exits during his time with Intel Capital. Rueckert holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's in information systems from Brigham Young University.
