Telligent aims to provide its customers with a supportable platform upon which they can build creative new solutions. However, these extensions cannot break between versions of the product and must not cause the product to be unsupportable. Because of these, and several other reasons, the primary Platform SDK that Telligent made available to customers will no longer contain the source code to products.
We realize that some partners and customers will still require a second tier of SDK, labeled the Developer SDK, which will contain some source code for debugging purposes only. The Developer SDK will not be available as a general download. Instead, customers and partners must contact us directly to request a license and agree to terms and conditions for the Developer SDK. Telligent will provide two SDKs for the Telligent EvolutionTM platform. Both Telligent CommunityTM and Telligent EnterpriseTM developers can use these SDKs:

Why isn’t Telligent including source code in the SDK?Source code has previously been available for Telligent customers that wished to understand the internal workings of our products. With this release and the inclusion of better-documented APIs, we no longer believe this is necessary.
I have customizations that require the source code. What should I do?Any dependencies that require re-compilation of Telligent’s products are not, and have never been, supported.
What if I want the Developer SDK? The Developer SDK will be made available under a separate license agreement. More information will be published on Telligent.com and in the Telligent newsletter when it is available.

Get the Telligent Platform SDK
The Developer SDK for Telligent Evolution will be available with Service Pack 1 (SP1) of Telligent Community and Telligent Enterprise. The Developer SDK will be a super-set of the Platform SDK, it will additionally include some reference source code to core Telligent Evolution assemblies for developers to better understand the application. The Developer SDK will be available under a separate signed license agreement.
Telligent Evolution Service Pack 1 (SP1), which will apply to both Telligent Community 5.0 and Telligent Enterprise 2.0, will be available no later than September 1. SP1 will contain a number of bug fixes identified and reported on by customers, as well as some user experience adjustments to the Telligent Community 5.0 navigation and group User Interface.
Both the Telligent Platform SDK & Telligent Developer SDK will also be updated for SP1 no later than October 1.
