Subscribing to email notifications for a forum is a great way to monitor that forum's activity; however, sometimes you may not want to follow specific conversation topics. Thread Muting in Telligent Enterprise 2.5 and Telligent Community 5.5 allows you to shut off notifications of individual threads while maintaining your overall subscription to the forum.

Quick Tip #59: Using SharePoint Integration to link document libraries and media galleries

With Telligent's SharePoint Integration package you can synchronize the contents of a SharePoint library and a Telligent Enterprise media gallery. You can upload files to SharePoint and they'll appear as regular file items in the media gallery. You can also upload files to the media gallery and they'll be stored in the partner SharePoint library while still displaying in the media gallery.

You don't have to worry about duplicates eating up your storage space -- these files are stored only in the SharePoint library.

This Quick Tip shows you how to set up file synchronization partnerships, and how to work with uploading files to either SharePoint or Telligent Enterprise.
