The single sign-on modules for community server 2008 are incompatible with 2008.5 due to declaring Telligent.Components.Provider as obsolete.
The latest SSO modules are available for download from http://get.communityserver.com/download/.

You need to ask someone now. There doesn't seem to be an official channel at this point, but Telligent staff seems to have been very responsive so far. Someone should be along shortly to wave a magic wand for you.
