Community Server supports pre-packaged widgets for forums, blogs, and groups. Some widgets are assigned to the site by default, but you can disable any of the assigned widgets from your site theme, or add widgets to your site theme. Some themes do not allow you to add or remove widgets.
Procedure
1. Navigate to Control Panel Dashboard> Manage My Blogs > Configure > Site Theme > Sidebar.
2. Scroll down to the widget section of the page. The available widgets may differ depending on the theme selection. The following example shows the Blog Sidebar widgets section.
3. Do one of the following:
- To add a widget, select the widget from the widget category drop-down list and click Add Item.
- To remove a widget from the Web site, select the widget in the widget list and click X.
4. Click Save. Your changes may take a few minutes to take effect on your Web site.
