Community Server allows you to modify the properties of its pre-packaged widgets. Some of the pre-packaged widgets do not support this functionality.
Procedure
1. Navigate to Control Panel Dashboard> System Administration > Site Administration > Site Theme > Sidebar.
You can configure the properties only for widgets you have assigned to your theme. To add a widget, select it from the drop-down list and click Add Item.
2. Click Configure next to the widget for which you want to set the properties.

4. Click Save.
