When you create a group, you can specify an avatar to identify the group within the community. The system administrator or group owners can change the avatar whenever they desire.

You can specify a group avatar from the group home page or from the Control Panel.

Group Home Page

  1.  Navigate to the group home page.

  2.  Click Change avatar.

 

The Change avatar modal window displays.

 

  3.  Click Browse to select the new avatar.

  4.  Click Use Uploaded Image. Community Server displays the new avatar wherever the group is listed.

 

Control Panel

  1.  Navigate to Control Panel > System Administration > Group Administration > Groups and Categories > Groups. The list of groups displays.

  2.  Click Edit for the group you want to specify an avatar.

 

The Group Options page displays.

  3.  Click Change Avatar.

 

The Change Group Avatar modal window displays.

 

  4.  Click Browse to select the image you want to use.

  5.  Click Use Uploaded Image. Community Server uploads the new image.

 

  6.  Click Save. Community Server displays the new avatar wherever the group is listed.
