Use the following procedure to set up a mailing list in Evolution.

Procedure

  1.  Navigate to Control Panel Dashboard > Site Administration > Forums Administration > Forums. The list of existing forums displays.

 

  2.  Click Edit for the forum you want to set up as a mailing list.

  3.  Select the Mailing List tab.

  4.  Do the following:

  • Set Enable as a Mailing List  to Yes.

  • Specify the email address.
  • Enter a mailing list name.
  • Enter an email footer.

The mailing list name and email footer are optional, but Telligent recommends you specify data for them.

  5.  Click Save.  It may take 15 to 20 minutes for the settings to become active.
