You can include a poll in your forum posts to query readers and provide pre-configured answers which readers use as responses. You can create a poll when you create your post or add the poll later by editing the post. As readers respond to the poll, Community Server tallies the response and allows you to view the results.
Only users with forum administrator privileges and editor privileges can create a reader's poll.
Procedure
1. Select the Poll tab when you create a post or edit a post.
2. Check the Include a Poll in this Post checkbox to enable the poll functionality. Additional poll options display.

3. Do the following:
- Enter your poll question in the Question data field.
- Enter a description of the poll in the Description text field. This is optional.
- Enter the answers from which the users can choose in the Add Answer text field. Click Add after each entry.
As you add answers, Community Server displays additional answer functionality.

- Enter how many days you want the poll posted before it expires in the Expires after data field. If you leave it blank, the poll will not expire.
4. Click Post. If you are creating a new post and including a poll question rather than editing an existing post and adding the poll question, you must compose a post message for the poll to display.
Your poll should display inside the post.

Community Server displays the current voting results as users respond to the poll.

If you have administrative privileges and access to the Control Panel, a report displays in a new window when you click User Voting Report.
