Not all users have administrative permissions to write a blog post. Your community administrator can restrict users from writing post to all blogs or to specific blogs. The blog author always has permission to create a post.
Procedure
1. Click the Control Panel link in the sidebar. The Write page displays.

2. Navigate to Manage > Posts. The list of blog posts displays in the workspace.

3. Click Edit for the blog post or page you want to edit. The Write page displays.

4. Edit the blog settings.
Write
-
Title – Title of the post. The title is used in the URL to help search engines identify the content of your blog for search engine optimization.

Body – Text of your post.
-
Tags – Post tags. Tags identify and filter valuable content. Tags to filter content based on topics. You can type tags in the textbox or click Select Tags to pick tags you've used before.

File Attachment – Download files to your post so they are accessible by anyone who views the post. Attachments are published as part of the RSS feed for your blog. A common example of how attachments are used is for Pod Casting.
Comments & Feedback

Can readers comment on posts – Enables readers to comment on your post.

Review comments prior to publishing – Specifies whether viewer comments require you to approve them before they are viewable to other readers.

Can readers rate posts – Specifies whether a reader can rate a post using the star-rating system.

Send email notifications – Specifies whether you want to be notified when a reader adds a comment to a post.

Do Not Send Email – You are not notified by reader comments or feedback.

All Feedback – You are notified when a reader posts a comment on the post or there are trackbacks to the post.
-
All Comments – You are notified when a reader posts a comment on the post.

Multi-user blogging – If the post has multiple authors, specifies whether all authors receive email notification of reader feedback.

Display references (trackbacks) – Specifies whether Evolution creates trackbacks when users link to your post.
Publication Settings

Use post summaries in RSS – Specifies whether only the post summary text is used in shared content.

Post Summary – Text summary of the post. Provides a preview of the post content.

When should this post be published – Specifies the date on which you want the post published. If you accept the default setting, the post is published immediately.
Advanced Options

Display this post on my site’s homepage – Specifies whether or not the post shows on your Web site’s home page.

Display this post on my blog’s homepage – Specifies whether or not the post shows on your blog’s home page.

Post URL – Specifies the post URL wording. By default Evolution uses the title of your post for the URL. If you want different wording in your title, you must specify it.

Post this entry on my other blogs (cross-posting) – Specifies whether or not the post is cross-posted.
Preview

The Preview page allows you to view your post before you publish it. Click here for more information about how to use the preview functionality.
5. When you are finished setting your post properties, you can preview your post before publishing, publish the post immediately or wait to publish.

Save and Continue Writing – Saves the post content but does not publish the post. Evolution. You remain on the current page.

Save, but don’t Publish – Saves the post content but does not publish the post. Returns you to the post list page. The Published column shows that you have not published the post.

After you publish your post, Evolution displays the blog post management page.

You can edit your post by clicking on Edit or return to your blog page by clicking the blog title or Go to Blog.
