One of the most effective ways of using forums is for collaboration and communication in the workplace. The Q & A status tracking feature adds another level to collaboration and communication through forum posts and replies.
Suppose you publish a post in the form of a question. It could be anything along the lines of “How do I …?” or “Where can I find…?” or “Does anyone know…?”
The Q & A status tracking feature promotes collaboration and communication because at any point in the reply threads a subject matter expert can acknowledge that a particular thread is correct or reply with a new thread and confirm that the thread contains the correct answer.
Evolution even allows you to remove a thread’s verified status if someone later determines that more information is necessary or the information in the thread turns out to be incorrect.
When you enable the Q & A status tracking feature, community members can see at a glance the status of the question. Evolution uses icons and labels to mark threads as unverified or verified. When a user marks a thread as verified, Evolution moves the post to the top of the forum replies list and highlights it in green.
