Hi,

Is there a way to mark content featured so it only appears featured within the group it is posted in, and not on the homepage?

At the moment, all featured content appears within the group and on the homepage...is there a way to restrict this to just the group?

    Hi Jon,

    You should be able to remove the "Featured Content" widget from the homepage and then place it in the groups. It should then respect the current group and show featured content for that group.

    Hi Rudy,

    We still want featured content on the homepage. Is there a way to restrict featured content on a post by post basis?

    For example, some content we would like to be featured for a specific group, however we may not want this content to be featured on the homepage as well. Is there a way to achieve this?

    Hi Jon,

    Telligent Community doesn't support featuring content only within a specific group.  The featured content widget does take security into account and will not show content the user doesn't have access to though.

    This could probably be done through a custom widget but not using the default featured content widget.
