We have an internal Enterprise Social Network (ESN) based on the Telligent platform. Many of our users are stuck in MS Outlook; thus ESN adoption is hindered. We do not use MS Outook web access within the firewall.
So users start up the day by launching MS Outook, and live their day there.
It would be really cool if we could launch the MS Outlook application, and make it appear in a frame in the ESN (internal Telligent portal).
Has anyone done this type of work? How complex would it be?
