I am getting this when I move the mouse over the site logo or the Group navigation menu

    Sorry about not getting back to you Navy#1.  We reproduced this last week and have logged it as  #2964 .

    Can you tell me what type of navigation you're using?  Are you using the Group based drop down navigation, or are you using the Custom drop down based navigation.

    When I use Group based drop down navigation, the error occurs on the Site Logo.  When I use Custom drop down, the error occus while clicking on the Group Menu

    I get the same problem using the the standard site navigation.  I have added a few custom items with drop down menu items.

    I opened a ticket for this issue, but haven't heard anything back.  Support for this product gets worse with every release.

    Do you think this will be fixed as a hot fix or SP1?  The site is kind useless if you get an error every time you click a menu item.

    The error message should only be seen by a very small number of users – those using Internet Explorer who have enabled script debugging enabled in Internet Options.  To work around this issue, you can disable script debugging and / or disable notifications about script errors.

     

    To do this, open up IE, and go to Tools > Internet Options and go to the Advanced Tab.  Make sure the 3 highlighted options are checked / unchecked as appropriate.

    Any new on resolving this bug? as it it quiet annoying and in fact is not only available in IE, its all over the place in Crome, FF, Safari and IE.

    Moreover - its looping and eats up memory - just check it with Group Navigation Dropdown - best to troubleshoot in firebug as it's showing up the error instances pop up one after another.

    The hotfix has been around for a few months now.  If you are current on your support agreement, you should open a support ticket and we'll provide you with your hotfix.
