Hello,

I tried to upgrade my Telligent Community 5.6 to the new Telligent Community 6.1. When I load the main page, I get this error :

[CSException: The resource you requested does not exist.]    Telligent.Evolution.Controls.ContentFragmentPageBase.OnInit(EventArgs e) +948    System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) +508    System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) +250    System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) +250    System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) +250    System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) +250    System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) +1651

I followed this link : http://telligent.com/support/telligent_evolution_platform/community/w/community6/19951.how-to-upgrade-telligent-community.aspx#Notes_for_upgrading_from_5_x

Here, what have been done :

  • Backup of files and databases
  • I started by replacing new files on the existing folder without replacing the connectionstring file.
  • Apply read permission for Network Service and modify on filestorage folder
  • Executed aspnet_regiis.exe /I to register ASP.NET4
  • Changed the application pool to ASP.NET 4.0
  • Upgraded database with cs_UpdateSchemaAndProcedures.sql

Then i get the error above. I restarted the procedure three time without any success. Do you have any advices ?

Thanks,

Regards

  • Just a quick update.

It seems the error appears when I load the generic theme.  When I switch back to Fiji, the web site seems to work but it doesn't load css file.

    Any advices ?

  • It was an issue with old binary files (CS*) in bin folder.
