Telligent Community 5.5 signatures not appearing only when not signed in

Using 5.5.134.17017

Forum post signatures on our site are enabled and work when you are signed in. When you are not signed in, though, they do not appear.

I searched for possible options, but I really can't find anything obvious. Any ideas that we can try?

    Go to Membership Administration, and find the Anonymous user.  Under the 'Site Options' tab, ensure the 'Display User Signatures' option is enabled.

    If any non anonymous users are affected, either check Membership Admin for those users, or have the user go to their settings page  > Site Options and check the Display User Signatures option is enabled themselves.
