The General Site Settings page contains settings for copyright information, terms of service, search meta tags and keywords, and site URL.
To set up the General Site Settings properties:

Navigate to Control Panel Dashboard > System Administration > Site Administration > Site Configuration > Setup > General Site Settings.

Set the General Site Settings properties:

Default Site URL - Default URL for reaching the home page of the Web site. This value should represent the root of the Telligent Community site because it is used by other applications to generate links for the Web site.

Search Meta Description - Describes your Web Site. This value is a metatag that is added to each page to help search engines process your Web pages.

Search Meta Keywords - Keyword searches for your site. These are keywords added to each page to help search engines process your Web pages.

Terms of Service - URL for display a terms of service agreement. If you enter a value, all users who access your site must agree to a Terms of Service Agreement before they can register.

Enable Activity Logging - User activity is logged and displayed on your site. The Activity Message List widget also must be loaded onto a page and configured for activity messages to display.

Enable Conversations - Users can send emails to each other using the Conversations functionality.
- Enable Robots Meta Tags - Search engines can use meta tags to identify indexable content.

Raw Header - Allows you to add your own text (or HTML) content to the top of each page.

Google Analytics - Allows you to enter Google Analytics code or other code (such as JQuery scripts) before the closing body tag on all pages. This also applies to all Control Panel pages.
- Click Save to apply the settings.
