The RSS Settings tab allows you to enable RSS feeds so users can see feeds not available to anonymous users. This is also where you enable searches of syndication feeds.

To enable RSS feeds:

  1. Navigate to Control Panel Dashboard > System Administration > Site Administration > Site Configuration > Advanced Configuration > RSS Settings.

  2. Set the RSS Settings page properties:

    • Enable Secure Syndication - If enabled, creates a unique URL for each syndication feed. The location of this feed is not visible to anonymous users.

    • Enable RSS Search - If enabled, creates an RSS available image atop the search results. The link behind this image can be used to subscribe to a syndication feed that contains content matching the search criteria.

  3. Click Save to apply the settings.
