To find a particular user to manage on the Control Panel:
- Navigate to the Control Panel Dashboard > System Administration > Membership Administration > Members and Roles > Manage Users page.
- Enter your search criteria in the Search field. You can use * and % characters as wild cards. For example, to search for all members whose names start with A, enter A*. To search for all members whose name contains admin, enter %admin%. Note that a search with a missing wildcard, such as searching for "oh%" (missing an initial wildcard) when you are seeking the user John, will not work.
Note: Only the username and email fields for a user will be searched. Display name and other user profile fields aren't used in the search for managing users.
- To perform a search using more filters, click More options.
