You can customize a user rank so Telligent Community displays the name of the rank a user has attained, or the avatar associated with the user ranking.

To customize a user rank:

  1. Navigate to Control Panel > System Administration > Site Administration > Site Configuration > Manage Member Points System > Manage Ranks.

  2. Click Add a New Rank to display a dialog window in which you can set the following properties:

    1. Name - Name of the user rank which displays when you select

    2. Min value - Minimum number of points a user must obtain to gain this rank.

    3. Max value - Maximum number of points a user must obtain moving to the next rank.

    4. Upload Rank Icon - Select the you want to use as the rank icon.

  3. Click Save. The rank displays on the Manage Ranks page. You can modify the rank properties by clicking Edit. The user rank will display with an avatar and rank name when the cursor hovers over the user name anywhere in the site, and will display available actions.
