To help you manage storage space on your Web site, the media gallery global quota settings allow you to control:

    • Total number of files that can be uploaded to each gallery
    • Amount of storage space allotted to each gallery

As your community grows you may find that some galleries need lower quota thresholds while others need more. The media gallery quotas are modifiable so you can change the settings as you need to.

To set the global quotas for media galleries:

      1. Navigate to Control Panel > Media Gallery Administration > Configuration > Global Quotas.

      2. Specify the media gallery global quota properties:

        • File Count Quota - Number of files that can be uploaded into a media gallery. 0 indicates the number of files is unlimited.

        • Total Storage Quota (megabytes) - Maximum size in megabytes allotted to each media gallery for file storage. 0 indicates the storage space for the gallery is unlimited.

      3. Click Save to apply the settings.
