In Telligent Community 7.6, the Advanced Options page gained a new Activity Visibility section that lets you choose which of your activities are visible in the community activity stream.
In Telligent Community 7.0, the "Activity Message Types to Log" section of the Advanced Options was removed. Notifications are enabled or disabled sitewide by Activity Story Stream plugins.

Advanced Options properties
The following table describes the Advanced Options properties.

| Content editor |
Specifies which content editor to use. Telligent Community supports a plain text and an enhanced editor. |
| Create and edit API keys |
Create new API keys here or edit your existing keys. |
| Date format |
The date format you want to use for your site. The activity messages that display in your list will use the format you select from the drop-down list. You can decide between standard American format, European format, or other formats. |
| Display in members list |
Determines whether you are shown in in group lists. |
| Display user signatures |
User signatures are included on emails between users. |
| Enable display name |
Specifies whether to display your system user name or a name different from your user name. If your system administrator has created a display name for you that is different from your user name, this setting determines which name displays in the community. |
| Enable emoticons |
Enables emoticons for your site. This option is enabled only if it is permitted at the site level by the administrator. |
| Time zone |
Time zone of your site. |
