*Screencast videos are supported if they are publicly accessible and embeddable by third parties. If you generate an SWF file from a Screencast, you can embed that file directly into the post. If you own the video uploaded to Screencast, you can get a link directly to the swf and embed that in the Insert Video popup.

** When playing an uploaded video, Telligent Community relies on the browser to pick the plugin and play the video correctly. Not all browsers support all extensions. For example, Internet Explorer does not have a WMA plugin.

Supported movie play file formats

The following formats are possible to play as movie files in Telligent Community. All of them depend on third-party plugins on the client side (browser). For example, if Windows Media Player isn't installed, .asf and .wmv files will not render; .flv and .swf files require Adobe Flash player.
