Navigation Tab Address

I have an image link in my header that i have linked to a tab on the homepage, using plain html. The tab address keeps changing though. How do I link to a tab permanently?

    The ?page-tab= Tab navigation comes standard with evolution on the homepage. Each time you save the page, the link address for each tab item changes. This doesn't work for me, because I need the navigation links to remain the same. I solved this issue by creating a custom widget that has navigation elements in it. I can then control the links and the pages they go to and the links won't change unless I change them myself.

    Hi Lisa.

    To clarify, do you mean you have a link in the header pointing to a particular page (group, blog, etc) in the site?

    If so, one possibility is to use the "Navigation - Custom" widget, which allows linking to specific places on the site without hardcoding their URLs.

    Or do you mean that there is some dynamic behavior on the page which refers to another part of the page? If so, how is that being linked currently?

    No, I mean the tab navigation on the homepage that has ?tab=123 as the link address keeps changing whenever you save the page.

    I'm afraid I'm still not completely sure to what you're referring. Which widget is the tab in? Is this page available publicly that I can take a look?
