Locking a wiki page disables nonadministrative users from changing a page.
Note: The lock and unlock buttons are only available to users with administrative rights.
Lock a wiki page
Important: If you have made any editing changes to the page, save your work before locking it. If you do not do so, your changes will be lost. (You will be prompted by a confirmation dialog box if you have not already saved the work.)
Notice that by default, any user having rights to edit in this specific wiki will also have an Edit tab available for the page.
To lock a wiki page:

Locate the Options box In the lower-right corner of the wiki page. If you have rights to lock a page, the Page is unlocked option is displayed in the box.

Click Page is unlocked.
Notice that the Edit tab has now disappeared from the editing options.
Unlock a wiki page
A locked wiki page does not have an Edit tab present.
To unlock a wiki page:

If you have rights to unlock the page, the Options box in the lower-right corner of the page will list the Page is locked option. (If you do not have rights to do so, contact your administrator.)
- Click Page is locked.
The Edit tab, previously not present on the wiki page, now appears.
The Options box lists the Page is unlocked option again.
