The blog setup workflow is contained in the Control Panel's Manage My Blogs section. It allows you to specify the basic properties of your blog such as the title and description; information about the blog; the email properties, and searchable keywords.

Some options are available at the global level, while others are available at the individual blog level. However if an option is disabled at the global level, you can't override that setting at the blog level. For example, if the Enable Themes property is set to No on the Default Presentation page, you can't personalize the blog theme.

To apply the blog setup properties:

  1. Click the name of the blog in the Blog list.

  2. Click Edit blog settings in the Options panel.

    <

  3. Navigate to Configure > Blog Setup.

  4. Set the blog setup properties:

    • Title & Description - Allows you to set up basic blog properties such as the blog name and description. Note: The blog title can be up to 256 characters long.

    • Email - Allows you to set up email notification properties such as notice that a user has published to the blog, spam moderation requirements, and the contact form.

    • About - Allows you to set up public information about the blog.

    • Search engine optimization - Allows you to add keywords to help search engines find your blog.

  5. Click Save to apply the settings.
