In Telligent Enterprise 3.0, the Site Theme Navigation feature has been replaced with a configurable widget, Navigation - Custom. This widget is used for navigation from one group to another or from the community home page to a group.
You can create custom navigation to any group application, content page, or custom URL using the Navigation - Groups widget. Both widgets live in the editable header.
Navigation - Custom
This widget provides a completely new facility with navigation. You can use it to create navigation buttons for many items, including:
- Content page
- Custom URL
- Group blog(s)
- Group forum(s)
- Group media gallery/galleries
- Group wiki(s)
- Single blog
- Single forum
- Single group
- Single media gallery
- Single wiki
You can nest these items up to three deep. For example, the following Navigation - Custom widget configuration
yields the following appearance on the Navigation - Custom navigation bar:
In addition to page layout and widget customization, this feature allows you to set the prominence of navigation topics or groups for three levels of headings (initial page; mouse-over second-level headings, and mouse-over third-level headings).
Navigation - Group
The traditional page navigation that was governed in the Control Panel Site Theme tab for releases 2.5 and 2.6 now lives in this widget. As with the previous custom navigation, you can select the following kinds of navigation from the drop-down in the widget:
- Single-bar static with drop-down
- Dual-bar drill-down
- Single-bar drill-down
