The delete option is not always available (and it is never available at the same time as the revert option).

Factory default widgets (those defined in plugins and enabled through the Control Panel (Control Panel Dashboard > System Administration > Site Administration > Site Configuration > Manage Plugins) cannot be deleted. These widget include those that ship with the platform. You can only delete widgets that have been created through the Control Panel "create" option, "save as" option, or imported as a new widget.

  1. Navigate to Control Panel Dashboard > System Administration > Site Administration > Widget Studio > Manage Widgets.
  2. Highlight the desired widget. The specific widget options appear.

  3. Click Delete.
  4. Click OK in the confirmation dialog. The widget will be removed from the widget list.
