Split a post into a new thread

In Telligent Enterprise 4.0, the moderation drop-down has moved from the bottom of the post or comment to the top-right corner.

Telligent Enterprise allows you to split one thread which has started branching into multiple threads to help you organize the content in your forum and make it more accessible to users.

Split a thread from the moderation page

1. Navigate to Control Panel Dashboard > Forums moderation > Posts > Forums to moderate.
2. Click Moderate beside the forum whose thread you want to split.
3. Click Split thread above the comment you want to split off. The split thread dialog appears.
   

   

4. Enter a new subject in the Subject field.
5. Choose the group whose forum you want the reply moved to in the group tree list.
   
   
   
   
6. Click Split Thread.

Split a thread from the user community page

1. Navigate to the post. 
2. Click Split thread in the comment drop-down.
   

   

3. Enter a new subject in the Subject field.
4. Choose the group whose forum you want the reply moved to in the group tree list.
   
   
   
   
5. Click Split Thread.
