Find a place via Telligent Enterprise Mobile

Telligent Enterprise Mobile enables you to view groups you participate in; view your group's sub-groups, and join or leave a group. You can also track activity in a group and find applications from your groups or places.

Telligent Enterprise Mobile gives you a list of all groups you participate in on the Places tab. You can also keep up with fellow group members' activity and view their content.

Join a group - 2.0 & 4.0

1. From the Home screen, click Places.
   
   
   
   Your list of places appears.
2. Click All. The full list of places you're eligible to join appears. (If you cannot join groups, you receive a message directing you to use the full site to join.)
   
   
3. Locate the group you wish to join, and click it. The group screen appears.
   
   
4. Click Join group (in 4.0, this is "request membership").
   
   
   
   The link changes to Cancel group membership

Leave a group - 2.0 & 4.0

1. Navigate the the group you wish to leave.
2. Cancel group membership.
   
   
   
   The link changes to Join Group/Request membership.

List groups you participate in

If you click Places in the Activity window, you'll see your own groups listed. The list includes all groups that can fit onto one page. If necessary, page through the groups.

View your group's sub-groups

In Telligent Enterprise Mobile, you can view and navigate through sub-groups.

View your group's sub-groups:

1. In the Places window, click the name of the group. Activity, People, and Places appear for the group.
   
   
2. Click Places. The list of groups appears.
   
   

Track group-level activity

1. Click the Places link.
2. Click My Groups for your own groups, or All for all groups. Each group has an arrow button.
   
   
   
   
3. Click the arrow.
4. Click the Activity tab. This will take you to that group's activity page, which shows:
   
   • When someone joins or leaves the group
   • Who posts a document or question to the group, and when it is posted
   • Who responds to a question in the group, and when the response occurred
   • Who modifies a document in the group, and when it was done
     
     

Find applications from your group

1. Click My Groups for your own groups, or All for all groups. Each group has an arrow button.
   
   
   
   
2. Click the arrow.
3. Click the Activity tab. This will show you that group's activity page, which displays:
   
   • When someone joins or leaves the group
   • Who posts a document or question to the group, and when
   • Who responds to a question in the group, and when
   • Who modifies a document in the group, and when
     
     
4. Click the Places button.
   
   
   
   A list of applications owned by the group, and any sub-groups (if they exist), appears.
   
   

Find applications from your places

1. In Places, click the Apps tab. The Apps window appears.
   
   
2. Click the drop-down arrow to display the application filter list.
   
   
3. Select a type of application from the drop-down. The filtered list of applications appears.
