The Compose tab of the forum Create/edit post window gives you basic post entry options as well as rich text formatting capabilities. You can specify here whether you want to be notified by email of any replies.

Field/property descriptions

The following table describes fields on the Create/edit post Compose tab.

Field Description
Description More information about the thread. You must enter some text in this field.
Email me replies to this post An optional selection. If you check this check box, email notifications are sent to the email address you furnished when you signed up for the community. You will only receive notifications if you selected the Send notifications check box on your Settings Email options page.

Subject

 The leading statement or question of the thread. You must enter a subject.
Tags An optional field. Tags are used to associate your thread with other thread having similar or related content.
