Tagged Content List top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, the widget started only being available (outside of admin edit mode) when tags exist on a query; it started allowing a user to configure the widget to return results based on a specific tag or tags (user-defined) instead of contextual tags, and it added a view type to configuration.
Purpose: Displays tagged content from the Web site.
This widget appears on an application's tag results page. For example, if you click on a tag in a blog/forum/media gallery/wiki post, it will display all posts in that application having that same tag.
if you set up the source as contextual tags, that should only be used on the tag results page.
The user-defined option can be used across applications. For example, if you have an SDK Q&A forum and a media gallery with SDK files, you could tag each file with "SDK" in the media gallery, then add a Tagged Content widget to the forum page; configure it with a user-defined tag of SDK, and filter by that gallery. This would return a list of files tagged SDK on the forum list page.
Limitation: Only used on tag search results.
|
Unfiltered HTML top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, the Content Type field was placed before the Content Title field; this and all other browse or list widgets became allowed for group owners.
Purpose: Allows you to render raw HTML into your Web pages. This can be especially useful for embed code and advertising code. This functionality is also available on the General Settings page when you set up your Web site.
It is not recommended for administrators to give registered users direct access to customizing this widget. It allows any HTML to be entered - which includes inline JavaScript, and could potentially cause a security issue.
