A blogroll is a list of links to other sites that can be displayed in the sidebars of your blog posts. You must create at least one list category that can contain one or more blogs (called list items). You must also load the blog link list widget onto any pages on which you want the blogroll to display.
To create a blog list/blogroll:
-
Click the name of the blog in the Blog list.

-
Click Edit blog settings in the Options panel.

-
Navigate to Manage > Lists.

-
If you have any existing blog lists/blogrolls, Telligent Evolution selects the first one in the list and displays its associated items, as shown in the following example.

Note: Telligent Evolution does not display an empty list category. You must add an item or link to the list to display the list category.
-
Click Create New List. Fill in the following fields in the Link Category Editor dialog window:
- Click Save. You are returned to the listing with your new category selected in the Select a List to Manage drop-down list. You can click Edit List to edit the properties of the list or click Delete List to remove the list and all list items.
-
To add blogs to the category:
-
Select that category from the Select a List to Manage drop-down list.
-
Click Add List Item. A Link Editor dialog window displays.
-
Specify the Title of the blog as it will appear in the list.
-
Specify the URL of the blog to which the name will link.
-
Optionally enter a description of the blog.
-
Optionally enter the REL attribute of the link, which is used by search engines to determine the context of the link. Telligent Evolution includes a number of out-of-the-box attributes from which you can choose in the Common Relations drop-down list.
-
Specify whether the list item is Enabled or not.
-
Click Save. You are returned to the main page and see the blog you just added. You can click Edit to change the settings or Delete to remove the blog from the list.
-
Click Save. The blogroll displays on any blog pages on which the Links List widget is loaded.
