The blog post Comments & Feedback page contains user comment properties, author email notifications and trackback options. You can control whether or not users can comment and rate the post and determine whether comments require moderation. You can also control whether or authors receive email notifications when a comment is published.

To set comments and feedback properties:

  1. Click the name of the blog in the Blog list.

  2. Click Write a blog post in the Options panel.

  3. Navigate to Write > Comments & Feedback.

  4. Set the Comments & Feedback page properties.

    1. Can readers comment on posts - Readers are allowed to comment on the post.

    2. Review comments prior to publishing - Comments must be moderated before they are available to users.

    3. Can readers rate posts - Readers can rate the post.

    4. Send email notifications - Specifies the type of feedback that will launch notification email to the post author.

    5. Multi-user blogging - All post authors receive email notifications of published feedback.

    6. Display references (trackbacks) - Create trackbacks when users link to the post.

  5. Click Save to apply the settings.
